--Signature=_Wed__11_Aug_2004_03_14_52_+0200_x6kA4N815SQJkpwN Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi, This may not be the most useful panic report, given how old FreeBSD 5.2.1 is by now, but maybe it helps anyway. I get a reproducable kernel panic (page fault) if I do this: - Start k3b, create a new data DVD - Burn the DVD, with options "Simulate" and "On the fly". - At least here, the burning will fail almost immediately, I suppose that's another unrelated bug somewhere. - The DVD Tray will open, leave it open. - Burn the DVD again, with the same options - PANIC! Below is the gdb backtrace. Sincerely, Benjamin Lutz root@merlin/usr/panic> uname -a FreeBSD merlin 5.2.1-RELEASE-p8 FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE-p8 #16: Wed Aug 11 02:40:41 CEST 2004 maxlor@merlin:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/MERLIN i386 root@merlin/usr/panic> gdb -k /boot/kernel/kernel.debug vmcore.1 GNU gdb 5.2.1 (FreeBSD) Copyright 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
