FreeBSD pcbsd 7.1-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 7.1-PRERELEASE #0: Fri Sep 26 15:26:35 EDT2008 Brodey@pcbsd:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/PCBSD.i386 i386
>Description:
Running PCBSD 7.0 RELEASE, the connection strength of wireless access zones, reports a much lower connection strength and throughput. Gaining association to such wireless access points takes five to fifteen minutes, waiting for RUN and ASSOC. Periodic connection dropping despite full-speed connectivity to the access points occurs once ASSOC is true.

list scan causes firmware to crash occasionally.
>How-To-Repeat:
Connect to a wireless access point.
>Fix:
Use a previous version of FreeBSD (earlier than 7.0).
