Interesting phenomena: I usually use route add default remote-slip -hopcount 1 with my slip connection, (& let the ISP do all the work) but I happened to havve manual booted with /kernel.nu & routing failed, I could only rlogin to remote-slip host, from there i could ping freefall, so the net was OK, Either this points to a weekness in our software or FAR more likely, to aweekness in my net knowledge (vast emptiness here ;-) Julian S jhs@freebsd.org
