Is there a reason why the uplcom driver puts out the following when the /dev node is ucom? Mar 26 11:51:51 lerlaptop /kernel: uplcom0: ATEN International Serial adapter, rev 1.10/0.01, addr 2 Mar 26 12:08:29 lerlaptop /kernel: uplcom0: at uhub1 port 2 (addr 2) disconnected Mar 26 12:08:29 lerlaptop /kernel: uplcom0: detached Or should/can MAKEDEV make synonym nodes for uplcom<->ucom?
