While I do agree with you, in this case it's not it. If I rewrote the
script using an if statement, it worked just fine.
if [ -x ${PREFIX}/sbin/thttpd_wrapper ]; then
${PREFIX}/sbin/thttpd_wrapper &
echo -n ' thttpd'
fi
