I found a patch for the linux kernel: http://www.ubuntu-forum.de/attachment.php?attachmentid=3D338&sid=3D3e0c647e= d7dac1a3177e7f013a83e0c9 It patches: sound/pci/hda/hda_codec.c . Can this be ported to FBSD ? It's a simple patch and it seems it worked for that guy. Does the unix kernel have a "hda_codec" module?
