How well does the CRC protection, and busmaster features of Ultra-ATA DMA/33 work..? Is the CPU utilisation on the same level as SCSI counterparts, nowadays? (I have used SCSI myself since day #1 :) If a DMA/33 transfer fails due bad CRC on transmission between host and disk. Will retransmission be handled by hardware or software to resend?
