Hi, We have a very busy webmail service run on several FreeBSD severs. One server does not respond to smtp/http port until timeout recently. The FreeBSD version is 4.5R. When it happens, I use netstat to list the listen queue is full, and exceeds the backlog size which is 128. Also, I use tcpdump to list both ICMP and TCP traffic, but cannot find anything wrong. Once I reboot the server, everything is fine again. When smtp/http port is unavailable, the other ports can still respond normally. Is there any way to list the IPs on listen queue or to fix this problem. Gareth To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
