I'd personally like to see an output option for huffyuv (hmm, guess it's time to start looking at the fxtv code...). http://www.math.berkeley.edu/~benrg/huffyuv.html This is what I use under Windows to do my capture (because my PII 400 is too slow for real time MPEG4 encoding). It gets about 5:1 compression on my sources and minimizes encoding loss.
