Thanks for the help.  I guess I didn't realize this was a 'technical' question.      
I have been posting to the newbie list because I've been using 
UNIX/FreeBSD for two weeks, making me a definite newbie.  Suggestion 
noted; I'll try to be more selective about which list I use.
