I surprised 
even without the driver vesa
using only

options SC_PIXEL_MODE 
options VGA_WIDTH90 

I got the same freezing 
but on the other consoles 

I will update the 9-current on my laptop with i386 arch and trying to duplicate these bugs 

quite possible that arch amd64 bug
