Synopsis: FreeBSD does not boot with Xen/HVM State-Changed-From-To: suspended->closed State-Changed-By: kmacy State-Changed-When: Fri Nov 16 06:26:09 UTC 2007 State-Changed-Why: This is a result of inadequate real mode emulation as required by VT-x. This should not be an issue with SVM which can do paged real-mode. Leendert van Doorn did the initial work but is now at AMD, so it is unlikely that he will fix it. There is no indication that non-MS operating systems are important to the Xen community with respect to full virtualization. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=114826
