Your information is out of date. The only thing I know of which caused problems with the KDE people was Trolltech's Qt license and they've now fixed that. In any case, the problem in that situation was that the license wasn't GPL *enough* and hence doesn't really support your argument against the GPL. In short, I still don't see what Pedro's got his underwear twisted up over here.
