Hi,

Having had problems recently with three different hardware vendors (the
issue seems to be shipping orders in a timely fashion), it occurred to me
that I really need a reliable vendor. A vendor who is reliable should be
rewarded with my continued business as well as the business of those I
come into contact with (ie referral business).

Unfortunately I have not yet found such a vendor, but I suspect many on
this list have. I have no desire to blacklist anyone, but I think vendors
who provide a quality service should be recognized. Aside from the list of
hardware vendors listed at http://www.freebsd.org/commercial/hardware.html
who seem to be more than average "pieces-n-parts" vendors, would it be
feasible for someone to maintain a list of pc vendors that all of us can
refer to? I know this would be work for someone to maintain, but I think
it would benefit both the FreeBSD community and the vendors who serve us
well.

If this has already been done, pardon my ignorance.

Thanks,
Dave
