Although I have not been able to run 3dm properly at all in current, after updating to 5.1BETA further problems have emerged. Rather than the previous behavior of 3dmd starting and entering nanslp but not listening on the appropriate port (does inetd have to be running? Or any other daemon?) now 3dm additionally gives the error message: 3dmd in free(): warning: modified (chunk-) pointer. Any reason for this? Thanks -John
