Hello all. I'm having a strange error message regarding the use of a Promise ATA66 controller and a 20GB IBM UDMA66 Hard Drive. I've included my dmesg with this email. Anyways, this Hard Drive works perfectly as far as I know, but during startup, I get this... ad4: READ command timeout tag=0 serv=0 - resetting ata2: resetting devices .. done ad4: READ command timeout tag=0 serv=0 - resetting ad4: trying fallback to PIO mode ata2: resetting devices .. done Anyone have any idea what this is message means, or a solution to it? Thanks. Eric ~~~~~ Copyright (c) 1992-2001 The FreeBSD Project. Copyright (c) 1979, 1980, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 The Regents of the University of California.
