If, while fetching a port, the transfer is interrupted (e.g. Ctrl-C), the resulting file is not deleted. This leaves a truncated DISTFILE, requiring manual intervention to delete: jedgar@splat:/usr/ports/mail/postfix$ make fetch >> postfix-19991231-pl08.tar.gz doesn't seem to exist on this system. >> Attempting to fetch from ftp://ftp.merit.edu/postfix/official/.
