This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_00DE_01C18EF4.E2B37260 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I have an Intel PRO/100 CardBus II (32-bit) card that I use on my IBM = ThinkPad 600E, and after a FreeBSD 4.4 install (from CDs) the card = doesn't seem to be recognized. I do a 'ifconfig -a' and it's not listed = there. I've done some searching on the Internet and I cannot seem to find a = definitive answer if the card is supported and/or how to configure it. =20 I've had no issues with Windows 2000 on the laptop. I'm so used to = hardware components working "right out of the box" that I'm at a loss on = what to do. :-) Plus, I'm no expert of FreeBSD or other Unices. Do I need to compile my own kernel? Or do I have wait for the 5.0 = release? Any guidance is appreciated.
