According to Chuck Robey's announcement on the 18th, you'd remove 
.ctm-status after step 2.

0004 (since the latest delta is src-4.0004).  Theoretically, of course.  I 
haven't actually done this  :)

On a side note, Chuck Robey, Master of All Things CTM, has previously 
pointed out to me that -stable and -current aren't appropriate lists to ask 
ctm questions, and that questions like those should be sent to 
ctm@freebsd.org (which isn't really a list, just himself).  Not to say that 
I personally understand when it stops being a -stable question and starts 
being a ctm question, but...
