I upgraded my desktop to 5.0 a few weeks ago; I did it by source
upgrade, so I didn't get to test sysinstall, but it has all worked
perfectly - except for the NFS locking problems, which I also see (see
my mail from yesterday).  There are a lot of ports that fail to build
on 5.0, but that's something I expect port maintainers to fix.
