we started our unix org in our school 2 months ago, and we were given 4 pcs. we wanted to setup a web, mail, file(samba), dns, etc... servers. The thing here is that our mail and login password for an account is the same while the samba password could be different. I want to know what should we do in order to syncronize our mail, login, and samba password. In a way that when a user changes his samba password it will change his mail and login account password, and vice versa, somebody told me about NIS, bit we dont want to use it... Thanx in advance, Shancecgol __________________________________ www.edsamail.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
