>Description:
'cd 4*' aborts with error when matching more than one directory
instead of choosing the first match. this is a real hassle,
always forcing one to specify 'cd 4.7*' for example. this
functionality broke with the recent ftp.freebsd.org ftp server.
>How-To-Repeat:
ftp ftp.freebsd.org:
4.7-RELEASE/
4.8-RELEASE/
$ cd '4*' should be sufficient to enter 4.7-RELEASE/ ...
>Fix:
stop 'cd' from aborting in the ftp server,
and give it the 1st match.
