Hi all, I will be reinstalling 4.2 from the CDs when they come out. Nothing major is wrong, except a problem with applix office, so I thought I would try a fresh re-install and see if that fixes it. Otherwise, the system runs great. As usual, I am apprehensive because I have my system dialed in perfectly, just how I like it. I have /var and /home symlinked to /usr, and / is in its own slice. Can I just make 2 floppies and perform a scratch reinstall without blowing away /home? I will do a backup of course, but it would be nice to not have to repeat all of those little annoying details of installing from scratch. Unless sysinstall has become the work of art we have all been looking forward to, and can do a lot of this for me. :) Jonathon -- "One World, One Web, One Program." - Microsoft Promotional Ad.
