You should also check the mailing list archives and try to communicate
with others that have claimed success in running it.  There have been 
quite a few, and they may be able to give you more direct suggestions.

Have you tried a serial console so you can see what is happening?  Do
you have DDB in your kernel?  Try rebuilding the Linux LKM with DEBUG
defined (look in the src/lkm/linux Makefile) and see what is output.

Which X server are you using?  If you use a remote X server/display
(on another machine), do you see anything on the console?
