uname -a FreeBSD v 4.9-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.9-RELEASE #0: Mon Oct 27 17:51:09 GMT 2003 root@freebsd-stable.sentex.ca:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386 I would like to make a sh script and I have the next question: I don`t want the next command to be executed until the kernel sends a syslogd message. For example, I want make the script waiting for the message from ifconfig after I change the MAC : ifconfig my_nc ether mac. This command will send a message to syslogd (and this => to console). __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Address AutoComplete - You start.
