It's been around since 2.1.0 at least. That's when I first got bitten by it (on my first install of FreeBSD, IIRC.). I've just seen more and more users getting bitten by it, so it's annoying me more and more. It tends to result in catastrophic failure, sometimes even on running systems (when people just want to add a partition). > > Uhm?
