I performed a very informal performance test using the VolcanoMark
benchmark.

Result before installing the 9-22 JDK:

  VolanoMark version = 2.1.2
  Messages sent = 20000
  Messages received = 380000
  Total messages = 400000
  Elapsed time = 4903.748 seconds
Average throughput = 82 messages per second

Result after installing the 9-22 JDK:

  VolanoMark version = 2.1.2
  Messages sent = 20000
  Messages received = 380000
  Total messages = 400000
  Elapsed time = 3332.754 seconds
Average throughput = 120 messages per second

I would like to express my thanks to the FreeBSD porting team for
producing such and excellent package.
