The following reply was made to PR misc/185661; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Mathias Grimm <mathiasgrimm@gmail.com> To: Gleb Smirnoff <glebius@freebsd.org> Cc: freebsd-gnats-submit@freebsd.org Subject: Re: misc/185661: logo Date: Mon, 13 Jan 2014 13:18:23 +0000 --20cf303349fd03e0ff04efd9e92f Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Thats true, its not an easy change. But im sure that many companies dont choose freebsd for the logo. Its like a airplane company use a weird logo such as a bomb, a air plain crashing or something else. its marketing... marketing will be always one of the most important thing. i assure you that most serious Christians will never use freebsd. and christians represent a big proportion of all the population we have But I understand the point of view of the comunity, Anyway, changing the logo would make it much more popular.
