 Hrm... did you use the xf86config program? Did you use the right
parameters for your monitor? Does not sound like it. the
<CTRL><ALT><KP+>/<KP-> will work... but you need to be able to support
more than one resolution.. Ie... 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 is what
you can usually change between. Read the XF86_SVGA Man page for more
details. You can try xvidtune also... read that man page as well
BEFORE starting.

 Yep.. try the SuperProbe command.
