How about a new Makefile target, so that we can do
cd /usr/src/foo/bar
make maintainer
and get all the information for that part of tree? There's no reason
why that couldn't then work for ports/ and doc/ as well.
Might need an additional variable or two
MAINTAINER= nik
MAINTAINER_DESC= Likes to review changes
or some such. . .
