In this way I can be sure I benefit from the submitter's wisdom and experience ... I watch the mailed cvs logs, but there are times when I might miss them. For example, in this case, I didn't really notice until some followup messages were posted! When I've done hundreds ports and am cocky enough to feel that there is little benefit in me seeing every little change, then I will probably have a different outlook on the whole thing :-) I expect you're right about the primary category.
