Hello Joe, I am running FreeBSD 4.5 kernel with updated binaries from CVS. I am sorry but I failed to mention that I did try pkg-config v. 0.12 and it failed, however I did download this directly from freesoftware's homepage. Perhaps I will give yours a try, err that is if there is one in the ports tree or from package.
