Hmm, not sure if it is wise to completely remove the /usr/obj directory.
Did you re-create it afterwards?

If things went correctly, the libc.so.7 file should be in
/usr/obj/usr/src/lib/libc.  If so, can you post the output of:

file /usr/obj/usr/src/lib/libc/libc.so.7
readelf -h /usr/obj/usr/src/lib/libc/libc.so.7
