It doesn't look like anything there has changed much recently.... the
error message from ppp is definitely coming from the open() that it's
trying to do on /dev/tun0. I'm going to bed now (Up in 3 hours).
I'll look into it tomorrow if I get a chance (it's my sons birthday,
so I may not).
