https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=285957 Warner Losh <imp@FreeBSD.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |imp@FreeBSD.org --- Comment #71 from Warner Losh <imp@FreeBSD.org> --- (In reply to p5B2EA84B3 from comment #70) We have a short term crisis we need to solve (getting the last few details sorted on python 3.12). I think that's just an exprun away. Last night we tried to unstick it in the hacker lounge. We have a longer term issue with how we can parallelize the upgrade to 3.13 and 3.14 given the large number of disruptive changes. How can we upgrade setuptool which is a bigger lift than we like. Those are important questions about how the project can scale to meet the requirements the breaking changes in these tools have created for us. There's currently an understanding this is needed, but not good consensus on the best path forward that I've seen to address the long-term issues. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
