I do not see anything like the problem you describe. Everything works fine for me, except for the error message about not being able to read from /dev/acd0c. And I put in a lot of hours yesterday running vmware and switching back-and-forth between different virtual machines. (someday I have to figure out how to get it so I can run two virtual machines at the same time...) I do know that some of the vmware2-related ports are a little flaky, and when upgrading them (mainly rtc, I think) I sometimes have to completely deinstall the old port and then make & install the new one to get it to work right. Now I tend to use 'portupgrade', and let hit handle things for me. -- Garance Alistair Drosehn = gad@eclipse.acs.rpi.edu Senior Systems Programmer or gad@freebsd.org Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute or drosih@rpi.edu To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
