I believe there are many fixes in 6-STABLE, however I haven't had a chance to test the snapshots so far. I can say that for me 6-STABLE behaves not less stable that 6.1-RELEASE-p3. I had 3 production machines (dual dual-core Opterons) running 6.1-R/i386+PAE and crashing once a week or so with QUOTAS enabled and SNAPSHOTS disabled (i.e. background_fsck="NO" in rc.conf). Since upgrading to 6-STABLE I got 10 days of uptime and no crashes so far. Regards, Atanas
