Well, the VM in it is certainly different.  Since he's using SUSE 2.4.17,
I believe that would mean that he's actually using 2.4.17-AA; you'd want
to try that to get the best possible comparison.  (Actually, I guess suse
2.4.17 is what you'd want, but I would assume that it is a pain to install
on redhat.)
