There was a press release earlier last week that said Digital is porting
Digital UNIX to the Merced chip and the IA-64 architecture.  But of
course, this was before Compaq bought them.  Strange, but last year it was
HP-UX porting to IA-64, then SCO, Digital UNIX, and Solaris also.  Seems
Intel is pushing everyone around these days.
