Synopsis: [panic] floppy umount crash on accidental remove/reinsert State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: vwe State-Changed-When: Sun Mar 9 20:23:45 UTC 2008 State-Changed-Why: Kyryll, I'm sorry to see your problem report being untouched for years. Unfortunately your report does not contain enough information for further inspection of your problem, but is an already known problem. The problem here is to remove the device while the filesystem on it is still mounted. We do have a lot of reports like this with different devices and are aware of that problem. It is on the other side not easy to solve and I'm pretty sure, it will take some more time to make FreeBSD more fail safe when removing active devices. As this is an already known problem _and_ your ticket does not contain much information for debugging, I'm going to close this ticket. If you think this should be held open, please feed back with more information. Again, sorry for not caring of your report for so long and thank you for reporting. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=79058
