I'd like to notice that the patch seems to break cdrecord -scanbus (freshly rebuilt from the ports): $ cdrecord -scanbus Cdrecord-Clone 2.01 (i386-unknown-freebsd8.0) Copyright (C) 1995-2004 J=F6rg Schilling cdrecord: Argument list too long. CAMIOCOMMAND ioctl failed. Cannot open SCSI driver. cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are r= oot. cdrecord: For possible transport specifiers try 'cdrecord dev=3Dhelp'. Regards Lucius
