It's too late for 8.2, but it could possibly go into 8-STABLE at some point soon in some form. I think some people are planning to do a big MFC of MIPS code in the near future, and hopefully that will include that. I'm not using 8.x for MIPS stuff, so I have less insight into that. Probably we should disable the obnoxious verbose-by-default on MIPS in -STABLE, too. Thanks, Juli.
