Hi, Yes. You can't boot the kernel from it (yet) but you can definitely mount a root fs. You have to make sure the right modules are in the kernel so it can see the USB stick. Other than that, it should just work these days. What do you mean by "create amountpoint for / for da0s1a" ? adrian
