This:

freefall:~$ ls -l ~/public_distfiles/portsearch/portsearch-1.3.1.tar.gz
-rw-r--r--  2 vd  devel  20956 Aug 11 14:32 /home/vd/public_distfiles/portsearch/portsearch-1.3.1.tar.gz
freefall:~$

$ fetch ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/local-distfiles/vd/portsearch/portsearch-1.3.1.tar.gz
fetch: ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/local-distfiles/vd/portsearch/portsearch-1.3.1.tar.gz: File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access)
$

(not available 24+ hours after I added the file to ~/public_distfiles/,
I have questioned clusteradm@ about this, no answer yet)

So I also put the file in http://people.freebsd.org/~vd/portsearch/ and
added the later to MASTER_SITES after MASTER_SITE_LOCAL.
