I'm sorry if you read implications of incompetence into my suggestion there, I 
can assure you there aren't any.

It's just that right now, at an all-time high of ports PRs with updates and 
new ports and ports-committers barely keeping up, I totally fail to 
understand your stance of openly refusing to do any of this basic ports-work 
*AND* even cry foul at the prospect of receiving mail related to your 
commits.

There is however an easy way to avoid all the commit-related mail, getting rid 
of a high-volume mailing list as a bonus and avoiding confrontations with 
other ports-committers: Request remission of your sentence and continue to 
maintain your ports through PRs. And that's all I meant to suggest.
