It's not quite nice I suppose, but if a new user can't pick out colorls
(or gnuls for Linux fans) from a list of packages during installation,
then I'm betting they don't make it through the actual install itself.
If anything, the proper solution, IMHO, is a FAQ entry explaining that
you can install either gnuls or colorls to answer the question "How
come ls(1) doesn't use color?" or some such, not importing every last
feature into src/.
