https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D215911 Bug ID: 215911 Summary: automountd fails with strange error on config parse error Product: Base System Version: 11.0-RELEASE Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: mat@FreeBSD.org After an update to 11.0, automountd would not start: # /etc/rc.d/automount start Assertion failed: (path[0] =3D=3D '/'), function create_directory, file /usr/src/usr.sbin/autofs/common.c, line 136. Abort trap (core dumped) It was because of an unfortunate merge leftover from freebsd-update, /etc/auto_master's first line was "=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D". It could say something a bit less intimidating. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
