If I install 2x512MB of RAM, the dmesg says that installed memory is 1GB but available only 512MB. On the other hand, if I install 4x512MB the message is 2GB installed and 1GB available. Always the half of the memory installed. The motherboard has four DIMMs, all filled. Many thanks in advance for any help.
