Documentation should not advise users to overwrite 
/usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/FreeBSD.conf


 From the preceding report, 291501:

> Overwriting the file will cause the operator to not gain updates to base.


sysutils/desktop-installer uses a separate file for people who switch 
from quarterly to latest for the two ports repositories,

/usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/bleeding-edge.conf
