I didn't realise it was necessary to patch the kernel. I have an ESS 1868
16-bit SB-compatible sound card. It has an MPU-401 MIDI wavetable on it
(according to the specs) and although I can get sound to work, I cant get
MIDI to work. It deosn't help that it's plug'n'pray either! :)
